COCOBOD Warehouse
Scope of work: Construction of large-scale warehouse structures; associated civil works including foundations, drainage, internal roads, and site servicing.
Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) engaged JMC to construct a major cocoa storage facility in Takoradi, a project valued at nearly GHC 50 million. Situated in Ghana’s primary cocoa export hub, the facility provides large-scale, secure storage capacity for cocoa beans ahead of export through the Port of Takoradi.
JMC delivered the full construction scope — warehouse structures, associated civil works, and all supporting site infrastructure — to the standards required for a facility of national strategic importance.
The completed warehouse strengthens Ghana’s cocoa supply chain by providing reliable, high-capacity storage that protects the integrity of the crop between harvest and export.
