Our journey started in 1991 with John Murphy Construction, the first company under LMI Holdings, establishing our foundation in Ghana’s construction industry. What began as a modest construction firm focused on warehousing and general building works quickly grew into something much larger.

In its early years, JMC played a pivotal role in shaping Tema’s emerging industrial corridor, developing warehousing complexes and logistics hubs that supported Ghana’s growing trade and manufacturing sectors. As our capabilities expanded, so did our impact moving from general construction into roads, drainage systems, water treatment plants, and large-scale industrial park development.

We took a bold step forward with the establishment of Atlantic Quarry & Concrete Products, expanding LMI Shamrock’s capabilities from construction into material production. Recognizing the growing demand for reliable, high-quality building materials to support Ghana’s rapid industrial development, ATC was founded to ensure consistency and excellence across every project we deliver.

We began with ready-mix concrete and soon expanded into precast production, manufacturing everything from blocks to railway sleepers. To strengthen our supply chain further, we developed a fully integrated quarry operation, producing a complete range of premium aggregates, ballast, and boulders.

McKenzie Brown Engineering Ltd (MBE) marked the completion of LMI Shamrock’s fully integrated infrastructure model adding advanced steel fabrication, roofing systems and manufacturing to our group’s capabilities.

MBE was founded to meet the growing demand for high-quality structural steel within the Shamrock Group and across Ghana’s industrial sector. Today, it stands as a key player in fabricating, assembling, and installing structural systems for factories, warehouses, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
